Gump is high drive male, who is very handler focused. In the house, Gump has a nice off switch & enjoys being close to his person, without getting underfoot. Gump is calm, & curious in new environments, with an alert, watchful eye. He is friendly & loving with people he knows well, & aloof to those that are new.

Gump is gentle & friendly with small children; he lives with 3. He gets along with all dogs, including other intact males. He loves to rough house with big dogs, but is gentle, & careful enough to play nicely with a puppy, or small dog. Gump currently lives with 4 other dogs, & gets along well with everyone. Gump has attended a few UKC shows with his handler, as they learn the ring together. Gump has earned his UDC-ATT.

Currently he is training for IGP/Schutzhund with his handler. They have attended multiple workshops with notable handlers in the sport. In obedience, Gump is very enthusiastic & aims to please. I’m protection,He has deep, full grips. With tracking, he is attentive to the track, & does not rush. Outside of training for sports, Gump loves hiking & exploring.
