Schwarzer Stolz is a Doberman breeding program located in the Laurentians, Quebec, Canada.
Our passion is the versatile Doberman (Total Doberman): a dog that preserves the physical and behavioural characteristics of the breed while thriving both as a companion and as a partner in dog sports and activities with its owner.
Our breeding program focuses primarily on European bloodlines, with particular attention to health, temperament, conformation, and working ability. We place great importance on carefully selecting our breeding dogs for both their health and behavioural stability.
Our dogs live with us in our home and are an integral part of our everyday lives. We participate in various dog sports with them, allowing us to better understand their strengths, limitations, and natural abilities.
We believe a great Doberman starts with thoughtful breeding decisions, but is also shaped through training and education.
Our goal is to give our puppies the best possible foundation and place them with families who understand the needs of this breed and are genuinely committed to their development.
2027 Litter
If everything goes as planned, we hope to welcome our next litter in spring 2027,
with puppies ready to join their new families around May.
All puppies will be black and rust, with natural ears and tails.
We are looking for active families who understand the commitment involved in raising and training a
Doberman and who want to build a genuine partnership with their dog.
The Doberman is an intelligent, sensitive, energetic breed that forms a strong bond with its people.
Its versatility is one of its greatest qualities, but it doesn't come without effort. The first few years require a great deal of time, patience, consistency, and genuine dedication to training.
A Doberman isn't simply a dog that accompanies you on your adventures. During those first few years, raising and training your Doberman becomes a project in itself.
