Cali is a female with a calm, stable, and thoughtful temperament. With a moderate energy level for the breed, she likes to take the time to understand what is expected of her and approaches new situations methodically. She easily keeps a cool head, even in more stimulating environments, and demonstrates great adaptability.
 

Attentive and willing, Cali enjoys working and learning, especially when she understands the purpose behind what she is doing. She genuinely enjoys participating in a variety of activities, whether it’s scent detection, obedience, or rat sports (RATS).
 

She also has a slightly independent side for a Doberman. She doesn’t constantly need to be at the center of the action and is perfectly content doing her own thing. That certainly doesn’t stop her from being deeply attached to her people—or from never turning down a good cuddle session on the couch.

When it comes to temperament, Cali is exactly what we look for: balanced, confident, attentive, and easy to live with—a dog who can work seriously while also knowing how to switch off and relax at home.
